A complete cross-border standby-power project built in South Africa and delivered, positioned and installed in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The project required more than supplying a generator. The 180 kVA Perkins set had to be built and prepared in South Africa, transported cross-border to Zimbabwe and then safely positioned within the client’s existing site infrastructure in Harare.
GenTech SA managed the project from beginning to end, including generator build and preparation, cross-border transport, delivery, crane positioning and final installation at the World Bank premises in Harare.
